Special on the Lexington Saddle are :

In keeping with Barefoot´s well-known reputation for quality and longevity, the leather on the Lexington saddle has been doubly reinforced in all areas that may carry pressure from the rider (stirrup attachment, saddle flaps and rigging attachment).

Each Barefoot saddle has a thick, moulded, pressure absorbing panel with vps system, on either side of the horse´s spine. These panels create a gullet to guarantee improved spinal clearance. They are also anatomically shaped to the rider´s thighs. The interchangeable fiberglass pommel is available in several widths (delivery includes size middle). The anatomically cut cantle is constructed of thick, flexible foam, to avoid pressure points from the rider and therefore allow superb movement and collection of the horse´s back. For the rider, this foam cantle gives a soft, deep seat. The Barefoot Dressage Saddle comes with kneerolls in varying thickness, which can be positioned to the rider´s comfort. Soft fleece underside in black. Five d-rings. The removable seat has a non-slip surface, with broad velcro underside attachment.

Fibre glass insert for extremely broad horses or those with prominent withers

Fibreglass insert for exchanging with the standard fibreglass insert for the front of the Cherokee saddle.

“Wide” sizes for EXTREMELY broad horses with no noticeable withers but instead very strong and broad shoulders. “Narrow” sizes for EXTREMELY narrow horses with prominent withers.

Use this insert only for a really extreme horse back; for a “normal” broad back the standard breadth is mostly sufficient.

Fitting couldn’t be simpler: open the zip fastener, exchange the inserts, close the zip fastener – finished!
